Bee Zine
Process
With this project, I was tasked to create a design which emphasized a particular animal in a creative context. To properly implement my desired theme, I recreated a vintage/90's era aesthetic through the creation of a zine (a DIY booklet that has been historically used in both fan-based and music groups to disseminate information) that was bee-themed. Coming from the lens of a 'fictional super fan' of both bees and the 2006 film, Wickerman, I utilized both punk-style typography, monochromatic color scheme with hints of yellow, and 'hand-drawn' bee illustrations to bring my concept to life in a print design context.
